The change in the number of job advertisements on Trade Me for the Tararua district showed a very strong increase over the month of September after a long period of growth compared to the February 2020 index.

Residential consents increased to $21 million in the year end August 2020, up from $12 million over the same period the previous year. While, non-residential consents $7 million in the year end August 2020, up from $4 million for the year end June 2019.
